Hayagriva Sangdrub in Kamtsang tradition

Post by amaravajra »

Dear all,

It is nice to meet you all in this amazing forum which we can discuss many things. This is my first post here.
Does anyone here has the Tibetan and English sadhana of six armed Hayagriva Sangdrub?
A Guru conferred the initiation here from the cycle of Chikshe Kundrol.
I put great interest on this deity and practice, and I hope I can get more information about this practice.

Regards,

Are you referring to Kyergangpa's Secret Accomplishment Hayagriva? I believe that's the one in Chikshe Kundrol as well...?

Hello Cone, I'm happy to to hear that. Yes, that one I mean, Kyergang Tamdrin Sangdrub.
I've seen several imagery of this deity and found a bit different especially on the second and third face, sometimes we found it opposite in color.
Do you have more information about that?

Central is red, right facing one is green, and left facing one is white, according to Kongtrul and Taranatha.
I'd have to review the sadhana in Chikshe Kundrol to see if it's the same...but I believe it is. Let's carry this on via PM, if we need to discuss further, eh?
