Source of Kalu Rinpoche quote

Post by Nirveda »

"You live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is reality, you are that reality. When you understand this, you will see that you are nothing. And being nothing, you are everything. That is all."

Anyone know the original source of this?

Thank you.

I don't recall who asked the question, but someone asked him to sum up reality in a few words, based on his understanding. I think it was a question during a teaching....

"Absolute Truth is not an object of analytical discourse or great discriminating wisdom,
It is realized through the blessing grace of the Guru and fortunate Karmic potential.
Like this, mistaken ideas of discriminating wisdom are clarified."
- (Kyabje Bokar Rinpoche, from his summary of "The Ocean of Definitive Meaning")
