possible buddhist- Long Island Ny
Hey, my name is Rein (or Evan if you prefer) and I have been developing a strong passion for the message of Buddhism. The idea that my suffering can be dealt with, even slightly, is a message that really resonates with me. So yeah, it's nice to meet you and i hope to have some interesting conversations with you guys.

Long Island, my old home! Welcome.

Welcome!
I came to Buddhism from a similar place.
It saved my life.
Or rather, I didn't know I had any options other than depression and suicide until I read "Mindfulness in Plain English" by Henepola Gunaratana.
That was several years ago.
I never knew life could be so interesting, or that I was capable of love and patience.
I hope you find similar relief from your suffering.
Dharma Wheel is so supportive and has been instrumental in my "rehabilitation"
See you around!
