Sorry to take away from the thread lol, I love this kind of music also, I find the new agey mantra stuff unbearable, but I love the traditional Tibetan instruments and melodies, banging cymbals, conch horn...awww yeah. One thing about "noise" etc. music is that it is so abstract that when done right, it doesn't really "try" to be anything, this is what I dislike about the new-agey stuff, it's trying to hard to hook you it turns into syrup.
I think Current 93 is an example of a project that has put out some very interesting and vital "spiritual" stuff...and then some not so good heh. Of course this stuff will never be popular with the majority of Dharma folks, but for me it hits the spot.
PS Zoviet France is one of my favorite projects of all time, i've been lucky enough to get my stuff on their podcast a couple times, they are awesome, have been doing their thing for so many years now, and have never ceased being awesome. Rapoon and Dead Voice on Air are great too.
We should start a new thread for this kind of stuff maybe, i'm glad to know there are others on here with these kinds of eclectic tastes.

is not born in the hearts of disciples in whom the moisture of attachment has dried up. It grows instead in the hearts of ordinary sentient beings who possess in full the fetters of bondage." -Se Chilbu Choki Gyaltsen
