And maybe the reality would be just as much a source of disillusionment and disappointment as the election of the first black President has proved.

My (undisclosed) sources say that Obama will become a Buddhist a little after bombing the sh*t out of Syria. Apparently (like Ashoka) he will feel great remorse for his actions (but that won't stop him using their resources) and will build a series of free wi-fi transmitter towers across the globe to spread the word of how much Buddha loves us all. And, might I add, my sources are reputable! :rolleye:

When they have sufficient merit and that seems a long time yet...... why should we just worry about America anyway, why not Iran,Syria, Germany or maybe even China????? :stirthepot:

I suspect the US will cease to exist as a political entity without ever having had a Buddhist president.
