search engine and talked-to-death posts

IMO it would be nice if you could allow allow some leeway for somewhat redundant threads until you have the search feature fixed. I don't know how others use the forum, but for me personally the forum is about half as useful without a search function when moderated as normal, and with selective finding of older threads being mostly undoable, and yet still any redundant discussion removed.

Don't get me wrong, love the place and all that but being that it seems like there is an indefinite period of time before search is fixed, the policy on moderating redundant threads could loosen a bit.

I agree with Johnny. I have also a hard time here to find the threads in which I am interested since history, through "View your posts", does not function either.

We are working on getting the search functions working again. In the meantime, here is a way you can search specifically for anything in this site:

site:http://www.dharmawheel.net search function

Just change where it says 'search function' to whatever it is you want to search for. It might be a good idea to bookmark that link for quick reference.

That's weird, it works perfectly for me. Anybody else having the same problem as Dronma?

Depends on the date.
In April there were these problems. Since some time in early summer these things are fixed. :thanks:
