This Dharma talk was given by Chi Chern Fashi in July of 2012 at the Dharma Drum Retreat Center* on the 7-day Chan Retreat.
Chi Chern Fashi received transmission from Master Sheng Yen in 1985, becoming his first Dharma heir.
He is currently the principal of the Malaysian Buddhist Institute, and is one of the most respected meditation teachers in Malaysia and Singapore.
Chi Chern Fashi currently travels to lead intensive Chan retreats and give lectures in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Europe, and the U.S.. Each summer he leads an intensive retreat at DDRC.
