Hello! Folks online call me Rabbit.
I've been practicing in the Gelugpa Tibetan tradition for about 20 years but definitely still consider myself a beginner.
I have a particular interest in precepts and vows. I'd like to be a nun but it's not in the cards at the moment.
In the meantime, I try to be as "nunnish" as possible for a lay woman, and study study study!
I just completed course one of the online Sravasti Abbey Friends Education (SAFE) program. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who's looking for a foundation in Mahayana/Vajrayana Buddhist thought. I'm hoping I'll get to participate in the next course that's all about renunciation.
I'm happy to be here. It's nice to meet you.
