Is anyone in contact with Ven. Ani Trinley Chodron?

Postby Luke » Fri Oct 22, 2010 6:42 pm

Hello everyone,

Are any of you in contact with Ven. Ani Trinley Chodron? She is a Drikung Kagyu nun who helped Ven. Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen edit and translate "The Jewel Ornament of Liberation." ... 140&sr=8-1

If I remember correctly, she used to post on E-Sangha. She was a great source of information for other Vajrayana practioners and she was very kind and helpful. I was thinking that someone might want to email her about this forum and invite her to join, if she has the time. Her presence here would be a great blessing.

She is really a great role model for westerners who are or who aspire to be ordained. I can't find the right words at the moment to wish her the best of luck with all her Dharma activities appropriately, so I will just write a mantra: OM TARE TAM SOHA.

You could probably contact her here

We are all here to help each other go through this, whatever it is.
~Kurt Vonnegut

"To reject practice by saying, 'it is conceptual!' is the path of fools. A tendency of the inexperienced and something to be avoided."
- Longchenpa

"Even though you have recognized your essence, if you do not get accustomed to it,
You will be carried away by the enemy of thoughts, like a small child in a battle field.
So long as you are not free from the limitations of accepting and rejecting,
That long will you not recognize the view of the innermost secret heart-essence."
