The Yes or No thread is really fun...

but how much fun would the opposite be?

(ask only who, what, why, when, where, how questions and questions that ask people to choose from a list but NO "would you rathers")

- Hm, maybe it is too less rules, yes nor no... (This is the answer to: "But how much fun...)

- My favorite insence is "Sandalwood"...

What did you like to do as a profession, but never came true? (Ah, yes, this questioning feels more free .)

Short! I spent nearly a month being unemployed and slowly saying goodbye to people in Salt Lake. A snowstorm came in and blocked my exit for another week..what ended up happening was "saying goodbye" to people 3 and 4 and 5 times over because everybody thought "oh he might leave tomorrow" but then slowly became distrustful and there was no meaning in the goodbyes! Awful!

Hm, sounds corny, but my best decision was to take refuge in Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. But this is not "small". What do you mean by "small"? The shortest best decision was to say "Yes." when my subsequent husband asked me if i'd like to drink a coffee with him at 4 a.m. on a nice summer morning... I wanted to say "No" and it was a thoughtless momentum to say "Yes".

If you could paint an oversized picture - what would it be?

That's a perfect small decision!!

If I could paint a giant picture of the Longchen Nyingtil refuge tree  ...but seen very differently from traditional style...I would.

Who? My Husband and my children. For the others it's a wellkept secret. :D

How did you celebrate your last birthday?

My wife made it possible for me to attend a retreat for my birthday last year. Very thankful.

:( to be 100% forthright--suicide. Whether now or in 15-20 years. Nihilism is a killer.

 to be honest: ONLY myself. As soon as i changed, all enemies dissolved. Either they left my life or they became friendly. One "enemie" started to tell me the story of her life very honestly and touching, as soon as i saw her again after one deep metta-meditation for her. So, who really produces the problems?

But for the play my question is:
How do you want to live when you're old, or very old?

In partial hermitage on a mountain. Enough people close by that I don't feel scared....but I can spend my time in the alpine meadows and practice and practice and practice until I die :meditate:

Through taking risks and conquering challenges. I will maybe go on a whitewater rafting trip. Or pay my taxes. Both are fraught with difficulty and fear. :D
