This is a very strange mantra:

In Germany there is an infamous organization, the GEMA, who takes money for playing music. This is the reason, why many of the videos you link in here are not playable for me.

If you all could give the interpret and the title, it would be easier to find the music you have given. Thanks. :anjali:

This year is the 200th birthyear of Verdi and Wagner, we should have some of their music here too:

Equanimity is the ground. Love is the moisture. Compassion is the seed. Bodhicitta is the result.

-Paraphrase of Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Tsephel citing the Guhyasamaja Tantra

"All memories and thoughts are the union of emptiness and knowing, the Mind.
Without attachment, self-liberating, like a snake in a knot.
Through the qualities of meditating in that way,
Mental obscurations are purified and the dharmakaya is attained."

From, i think (could be wrong) Majjhima Nikaya:

"Monks, according as a monk studies on much or discusses much, his mind as
a consequence gains a bias that way."

So I have been listening to this a lot, thinking on it, even you could say, studying it. Enjoy.

I happend to mistakenly stumble across a documentary about the 18th century vocal phenomenon of the castrati (and their modern counterparts the contralto) on the now defunct (shut down two days ago, in the name of economic progress, by the current Greek government) Greek public television station ET1, and was astounded at their vocal capacity/capability.

Here are a couple of examples:

You can find information about the documentary here http://www.ticofilm.com/Tico_Film_Company/HV_EN.html
