This fine teaching by Mipham bodhisattva give the Tibetan rendering for the 8 buddhas, but anyone know the Sanskrit equivalent? In romanized text, not devanagari please.

Hi Will,

here are three links where you can find the names of these Buddhas addressed in the prayer.

http://www.jimsande.org/Tashi.html
http://monlam.org/eightnoble.html

maybe that one is most helpful

Hope that helps!

I love this prayer. I'd like to thank you for this. I prefer to recite prayers in the original language(s). I am learning Sanskrit metre and intonation to chant Vedic ślokas, and with a little education in Tibetan, I can do this.

That's all. :namaste:
