Introduce yourself to others at Dharma Wheel.

Hi, my name is james. I practice in the soto zen and tibetan gelug transitions. I'm interested in japanese esoteric Buddhism (mikkyo I think it is also called), it's my ambition to practice in the Tendai or shingon traditions. I'm a lay person and study religions in general. I practice casually in these traditions as I like to learn as much as I can about Buddhism. As Robert twigger says, specialisation is for insects!

Thus have I heard an ex boss saith... 'Jack of all trades, master of none' & 'Who chases two jackrabbits but catches none' and an old Chinese quip, 'A cat with only 3 legs'...

Casual practice is definitely better than no practice at all!
