Hello from Philadelphia PA

Postby Mountain Dweller » Wed Apr 24, 2013 4:56 pm

Hello Everyone.
I am Jack from Phili PA, raised catholic in a totally catholic community. My two best friends are Austrian Atheists who live in my neighborhood. My ancestors are Norwegian, Danish, German, and Norse Irish... pretty Germanic if i do say so myself.  I love to write, draw, play music, do sports.

I fell away from catholicism about three years ago, after studying it thuroughly and deciding that it didnt make sense. And now here i am at Dharmawheel.net! I started looking at buddhism last year and i loved what it had to say. The buddha just had so much wisdom for me and all of us, and that is why i am here. I have read a few books from shabhala publications but am still very new to it. Hopefully i will get some questions answered here. :)

I look forward to meeting all of you on the forum and frequently posting here.
