Just a wee hello...

Postby riverflow » Wed Apr 24, 2013 11:57 pm

Hello everyone, my name is Josh. I may do more lurking than posting here (maybe), but I might toss a few thoughts of my own into the mix from time to time.

I've been practising since 2010, though 2012 was something of a hiatus from Buddhism (a long story). I'm interested in Chan/Zen but specifically in terms of practice I've been following Thich Nhat Hanh's mindfulness trainings.

Only in the past few weeks I began practising with a sangha-- Magnolia Grove Monastery and a small sangha group in Memphis-- and this has done an a great deal of good for my practice in a way I could not have previously imagined.

Anyway, hello everyone! /\

Hi there, Josh. :)

Lurking is OK. I do a lot of that too but come out of hiding every once in a while.

Welcome to Dharma Wheel!
