Does anyone have or know where to point to find the Dharani of Dorje Namjom/Vajra Vidharana with the correct sanskrit pronunciation (transliterated to English)? All I have on hand is the Tibetanized phonetics.

I am assuming the original Sanskrit would be superior to recite, what are your thoughts?

Great, this is very helpful. Especially since the Tibetan version I have at times says "Benzar" and others "Benzra" and I wasn't sure if it was meant to be the same word, but here I see it is all a Tibetanized version of Vajra. Any pointers on proper Sanskrit pronunciation?

If you want I can record a version and share it :meditate:

(It would be a typical South Indian Sanskrit pronunciation though ! )

I thought sanskrit doesn't have F or Fa, but it is in hindi, which has adopted it from arabic or from other language.
May be the Fa sound exists in the realm of deities, who knows ?

That would be fantastic! Is South Indian pronunciation more typical of the ancient pronunciation? Or is ancient pronunciation all speculative?

It must be mostly 'pha'. Data entry error I suppose

Kinda. /ai/ and /au/ are properly realized as diphthongs. Most North Indians tend to pronounce /ai/ and /au/ similar to /e/ and /o/ (except Marathi people I guess).

The pronunciation of the Vocalic R is a perennial issue. There is a range of pronunciation from /ri/ to /ru/ to something that falls in between the two (something like that I have pronounced).

http://www.virtualvinodh.com/download/V ... harani.mp3

I hope there is minimal error in the pronunciation.

But seriously, if you want a proper Buddhist Sanskrit Album in Indian Sanskrit pronunciation - I would recommend :

http://deerpark.in/siddhartha-s-intent/ ... ions/dhih/ - Dhih
&
http://deerpark.in/siddhartha-s-intent/ ... arma-nada/ - Dharma Naada

I have them both and they are awesome !!
