Jhanas Bliss?

Hi,

Is the Bliss described in some texts the same as the bliss in the Theravadin Jhanas

There are different bliss's - but generally speaking no because jhana bliss is meditative bliss and the bliss referred to (usually) in Vajrayana (Great Bliss) is beyond meditative bliss.

How is it beyond Meditative bliss....what the difference?

Because Great Bliss does not arise as a consequence of meditation or specific actions, it is just a natural state.
