Everything we experience ....

Experiences from the Vajrayana view - everything we experience is the arisal, momentary existence of and dissolution of the mandala while viewing experiences as normal just physical existence causes our currently arisen confusion to reinforce itself.

Is Vajrayana singular or plural?

And here you criticize Zen teachers for playing with riddles ...

hi kirt, i would say experiences are more akin to watching a bird fly across the empty sky, we can follow it, but it leaves no trace of its path. however our vision of the bird itself, whether we are a hunter or a bird fancier, (karma) qualifies and continues our experience, with likes and dislikes etc.

Experience, Zen, birds, there you go:

One day Baizhang accompanied Mazu on a walk. A flock of wild ducks flew by them.
Mazu said, "What's that?"
Baizhang said, "Wild ducks."
Mazu said, "Where'd they go?"
Baizhang said, "They flew away."
Mazu then twisted Baizhang's nose so hard that he cried out.
Mazu said, "So you say they've flown away!"
Upon hearing these words Baizhang attained enlightenment.

(from: Zen's Chinese Heritage by A.E. Ferguson, p. 77)
"While teachers of the middle way, mind only, transcendent wisdom, mantra, and other schools may have their own assertions, the fulfillment of those intentions is the same. There is not a single thing that is not contained within mind."
(Gampopa to Düsum Khyenpa, in "The First Karmapa", KTD Pub, p 254)
