Career in Dharma art?

Postby Skydancer » Fri Dec 28, 2012 9:29 am

I've been thinking about pursuing a career in art (drawing/painting), and I've been playing with an idea of Western Dharma art (some of you may remember that Trungpa talked quite a bit about that). What do you guys think — is it possible to make a living by being a Dharma artist here in the West? I know you can't get rich, but that's OK because I'm content with modest income.

I don't think it is realistic unless you are monastic.
