Good stuff!

Here we have Buddhist RE (religious education) offered at some schools and taught by trained volunteers (like me!) which is quite popular among the general public. And the kids usually do metta as part of their class. There was a great video made by the Buddhist Education Project about this program a few years ago and the kids also describe the benefits of learning to meditate.

Having done a couple of classes so far, I can tell you that 8 year old boys don't generally sit still. This must've been a bloody good group (or they took all the fidgeters away to baseball or something!)

As for the fidgeting, they said that they only did the meditation for a minute or so at a time.
