Hello everyone.
My name is DaftChris. I'm a college student studying psychology and still relatively new to Buddhism. I sometimes have my doubts when it comes to Buddhism, but it has helped me in many ways after I adopted it into my life. I was a Christian before and it never seemed to click with me. I dabbled in Taoism, Judaism and Hinduism before I discovered Buddhism, and while I'm still interested in other faiths and philosophies, I think I'll always be a Buddhist at heart.
Religiously, I lean towards Tibetan; but I'm open to other schools of thought. I also sort of believe in God, but more in a Deistic sense rather than Theistic.
I'm also a member of NewBuddhist.com and I hope my time here is just as informative and inspiring.
Hope to chat with you all soon!

Hi DaftChris, and welcome to DW Mahayana!
As to doubts, remember they are normal, and they are also a very good, healthy sign. It is natural and normal and intelligent to doubt...the only difference here is you also have your own practice, realisations, and undeniable experience/breakthroughs to balance those doubts.
So it is always doubt, faith, doubt, faith, doubt, faith, and so the practice flows.
Well wishes, and happy discussing!
