Hi All,
I am kind of an electic solitary practitioner. I practice the meditation I was taught at a Chan monastary, and study Buddhist literature from the Pali Canon, Prajnaparamita, and Madhyamaka commentaries to the best of my ability. I would like to officially join a tradition, but having had a disruptive life for the past few years that involved moving around a lot, I simply haven't had the chance (I currently live in an extremely rural area, far from any sangha).
I decided to join this forum because I was very impressed by the quality of the postings here, and I would like to thank the members and administrators of this forum. I have benefited very much from reading the discussions here. Looking forward to meeting everyone and to future discussions.

Re: Hello
Warm welcome, Ukigumo. Remember that forums can be fun, but they can also be distracting. A little at a time and then practice tells the rest of the story. Best wishes!
