I am watching in between teaching sessions here. I am quite moved by the story. Although Lelung Rinpoche chose lay life and lives in the UK, he lives in such simple circumstances (a garden shed). With such an important title he could probably live a very lavish lifestyle in a huge house if he wanted to, but he lives like a poor person.
A foolish man proclaims his qualifications, A wise man keeps them secret within. A straw floats on the surface of water, But a precious gem placed upon it sinks to the depths -Sakya Pandita
Thanks you Ven. Khedrup, I really enjoyed this video. I wasn't so interested in the "plot," per se, but I was very moved by Rinpoche crying about the poor donkeys who built some large structure for them. Very very moved at his sincere compassion. You just don't see that every day. Wonderful.
