May all beings be happy.

Postby eddiecj » Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:17 pm

Hi there,

I am a yogi from London, UK.

I mainly practice Thereveda meditation. That said I spent the summer before last living in a monastery in the Himalayas (Mahayana) and trekking to Mt Kailash in Tibet, and my meditation teacher teaches both Thereveda and Mahayana practices.

I have written a blog about my journey to Damma which may or may not be interesting.

I run a Buddhist business and regularly go on retreat.

May all beings be happy.

Welcome! :)
Amitabha, Amitabha, Amitabha!
The moment when myriad thoughts are flying around in confusion is precisely the time to do the work. The more you gather your mind in, the more it scatters. The more it scatters, the more you gather it in. After a long time the work becomes pure and ripe, and false thoughts naturally do not arise. -- The Pure Land Teachings of Master Chu-Hung

Welcome from New York, US.

"We do not have to be ashamed of what we are. As sentient beings we have wonderful backgrounds. These backgrounds may not be particularly enlightened or peaceful or intelligent. Nevertheless, we have soil good enough to cultivate; we can plant anything in it.”
