prayers for me

Requesting and offering prayers and aspirations for those in need.

prayers for me

Postby Anders » Sun Oct 21, 2012 4:02 pm

I am facing some tough changes and decisions that require a fair bit of resolve to go through properly at the moment. No one is dying or anything, it is 'just' prayers for peace of mind and a wise and beneficial resolution.

If you believe certain words, you believe their hidden arguments. When you believe something is right or wrong, true of false, you believe the assumptions in the words which express the arguments. Such assumptions are often full of holes, but remain most precious to the convinced.

Hi Anders,

Many beautiful replies to your request.

Just saw your post.

Don't worry - everything will be ok.

Do you know how to use the I Ching?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... ition=used

Used cost from $4.75.

If not, PM me and I can explain. I have been using it as an advisory, in difficult situations, since 1965. Wow - I am old.

It is a book of wisdom, that no matter what reading you get, can give you a new perspective on your situation.

This is useful, as it suggests new possibilities, new ways of looking at things, and through this frees you from obsessive, circular thinking. Then at least, maybe you are freed from the, "suffering of suffering."

Best, ob

Om ma ni pad me hum. :meditate:
Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

I like this image very much. May I ask where it is from?

I know the I Ching though I haven't used it in a long time. I think I will do so tonight though. Thanks.
