I couldn't open my eyes to see anything but I could hear "people" running about me and "talking" although I couldn't understand their language. I was trying to scream but nothing was coming out other than a whimper. Luckily my wife heard my whimpering and woke me up.
Sounds a lot like and abduction by ETs.
Especially the part where you heard them speak but didn't understand.
In a similar experience a friend of mine was able to open and move his eyes. He saw a figure of a Red Indian standing by his bed. My friend tried to kick him but was paralyzed. Then he saw the figure going away and suddenly the paralysis let him go and he kicked the desk that was near his bed.
If you've seen Spielberg's Taken - there was this WWII American pilot who was abducted but somehow woke up from the paralysis and he was seeing Nazi surgeons. Later on the real memory of the experience returned and the Nazis were actually little grey beings.
It seems they use a method of changing or completely blocking the memories of the people being abducted. Otherwise many would go crazy after such an experience.
I myself remember of three experiences of the so called sleep paralysis - half awake, unable to move, sensing a presence, paralyzed with fear. They span in a period of 15-16 years - the first one was when I was in high school, then in the university, and finally the third one was just a few months ago. The new thing in the last experience was that I felt no fear. So, for the first two cases I've received information (from a source I trust 100%) that they really have to do with ETs, who are trying to help me. For some time after I was told this, I was quite scared and my sleep went from bad to worse - I used to wake up many times during the night and to look around the room to see if there is someone. A few months later my sleep is back to normal (from awful back to bad
). Anyway, the important thing to remember is that ETs are here to help.
Not really a Buddhist post, huh?
