I found this video today:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp8sIqd31Ug" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Between the minute 21.35 - 23.25 Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche talks about the skillful way of telling a truth, and he explains that even the Buddha taught in general teachings which were not very direct, because the truth cannot be "digested" easily.
Then at the minute 22.26, he gives an example of "direct", naked, absolute teachings of the Buddha, such as "Vajra ........????? Sutra".
Can someone please tell me the correct name of this Sutra, because I can't understand from this video.
Does anybody know if this direct teachings Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche gives like an example of direct teachings, were translated to English? And does anybody know other example of "direct" teachings like this one?
Direct, naked, absolute teachings?
Re: Direct, naked, absolute teachings?
Vajracchedikā - The Diamond Sutra.
If they can sever like and dislike, along with greed, anger, and delusion, regardless of their difference in nature, they will all accomplish the Buddha Path.. ~ Sutra of Complete Enlightenment
Re: Direct, naked, absolute teachings?
Did the buddha just call me a deviant?If one perceives me in forms,
If one listens for me in sounds,
This person practices a deviant path
And cannot see the Tathāgata.
Ain't it the truth though . . .
