Prayer for Cyberspace

Post by Silent Bob »

Namo ākāśagarbhāya oṃ ārya kamari mauli svāhā

Oh bodhisattva mahasattva!

As I prostrate at your lotus feet,
I offer everything I can name and understand,
And all my mind’s conjurings,
As well as everything that exists, inconceivable and undreamed of,
Throughout immeasurable space.

To you, who are the very essence of space,
I offer praise.
Bless this cyber-space with comfort, bliss and enlightenment—
May it be of benefit to myself and others.
Unburden our misgivings;
Purify all that sullies and despoils us,
And the profligate displays,
That throng and colour this space.

Prayer for cyberspace by Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse
"All the sublime teachings, so profound--to throw away one and then grab yet another will not bear even a single fruit. Persevere, therefore, in simply one."
--Dudjom Rinpoche, "Nectar for the Hearts of Fortunate Disciples. Song No. 8"

If they can sever like and dislike, along with greed, anger, and delusion, regardless of their difference in nature, they will all accomplish the Buddha Path.. ~ Sutra of Complete Enlightenment

Here is a talk on how HH the Dalai Internet is not your teacher . . .
I feel like my Buddha has been met and killed.
Might have to arrange a visit to some actual Buddhists soon . . . :namaste:
