Whats the meaning of Zen Buddhism?

General discussion, particularly exploring the Dharma in the modern world.
[N.B. This is the forum that was called ‘Exploring Buddhism’. The new name simply describes it better.]

I like the first one myself. It's free of all the symbolic baggage that comes with the lotus. It's rawer, more immediate, and more direct. Just that.

It's (brace yourselves for a grating neologism) Zenner!
