Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche out of retreat?

Postby Sherlock » Tue Oct 02, 2012 4:58 pm

I just saw an upcoming event with him in Singapore in November. I thought he was wandering around the forests?

It was a pretty cool move. He had it all, left it all and now risks gaining the only thing that matters. ;)
May all be auspicious on his path.

Yes, as does his brother. From what I know, they are very good teachers. There's also a Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation here (the pt branch). (http://www.krfportugal.org/pt/index.php)
I hope YMR teaches again one day. If not, this decision of his is a lifetime teaching on its own.

PS- in Portugal the Dharma scene is ridiculously small, so I'm pretty much aware of all that happens in this corner of the world when it comes to Buddhist activities.
