“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Hi Nana,

Is nibbana experienced by the stream entrant at the point of attainment? If you agree that they do, can you tell me what that feels like at that unconditioned moment? I categorically don't want a thesis. Just tell me what it feels like at that point of attainment (vimutti).

Hi Nana,

Ok, let's take a step back - are you saying there is NO particular moment, a putajjana becomes a stream entrant? (ie path and fruition are not moments, refered to as 'vimutti' in the sutta pitaka, the simile to which is a chick cracking through a shell or a lightning strike).
