Feral cats????.....we don't need no stinking feral cats.....like lions and tigers and bears (oh my)..............sorry forget the bears...they are not feral cats..........but lions and tigers are......

We should keep the lions and tigers (and bears) inside and don't let them go out....they might kill something and that would be a shame......better we keep them in zoos....let's go catch them and SELL them to some zoo's.....we'll be rich and we'll be doing something good for our karma.....

from Google (define:feral)
wild and menacing; "a pack of feral dogs"
wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

and from Wiktionary
feral (comparative more feral, superlative most feral)
wild, untamed, especially of domesticated animals having returned to the wild
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/feral

also....all animals once lived in the Garden of Eden and were tame so even by the "gone feral" definition they are feral.....and no I do not have a reference from the Pali Canon for this.....Moses predates the Pali Canon I think.....

If cat's gone feral are not a part of a natural ecosystem are they then part of a supernatural ecosystem?

Cats can't be vegetarian. they must eat meat. They also hunt & kill things, that's their nature... I wouldn't be going getting all hung up on the karmic consequences of this or that in life, or you'll just end up afraid of everything. If you were killing chickens with your own hands to feed a cat well maybe that would be different. I wouldn't worry too much
