HHPR Recommending taking the Bodhisattva Vows often

Postby kirtu » Fri Jul 16, 2010 2:35 am

About 1 1/2 years ago I was watching a tape of HH Penor Rinpoche teaching about the Bodhisattva Vows and he recommended that after taking the Bodhisattva Vow initially that we take it repeatedly, even everyday on our own and this would deepen and strengthen our Bodhisattva practice.

And I just realized that taking the Bodhisattva Vow is what happens first thing every morning during the Palyul summer retreat!

It should also be part of whatever meditation practices you are doing.
