Has any publisher ever produced portable editions of the Heart Sutra and/or Diamond Sutra? Maybe something similar to those pocket or wallet sized books near the cash registers at Barnes Noble and other bookstores. I want to have those sutras on me while I travel away from home so I can read and contemplate them while I am commuting.
With the Heart Sutra, I can simply go old school and write it on a notepad sized paper with the English on one side and simplified Chinese on the other. But with the Diamond Sutra, it would be harder with its 20+ pages.

It will benefit you and others (inconceiveably) to write it out,
it's like a writing meditation...
"The Prajnaparamita Sutra contains the highest teachings of the Buddha and is among the most precious texts available in the world today. Due to the power of this text, writing it out is a way to generate tremendous merit and receive blessings." http://www.fpmt.org/projects/fpmt/praj.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Most MP3-Players can display .txt files.
e-Book readers might be an alternative, too. I was very sceptic about them at first, but really, they're amazing.

Yes, you could either write or type the text and store for reading on your mobile or eBook reader. I have a Kobo ebook reader which accepts many formats. If you find a pdf file, it may display better if converted to an epub file format.
Here's a source for both - copy the text and create whatever type of document you want. If you want paper, you can format this text for appearance:
http://www.sacred-texts.com/bud/tib/hrt.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.sacred-texts.com/bud/bb/bb22.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you want to write it out you could then scan what you create and save that also as a file for use on other media.
