We are having a strange summer of extremes here in the UK.
90 degrees one day. 60 degrees and pouring rain the next.
After some hot days the dust builds remarkably quickly
The rain falling on the dry ground raises sweet smells of earth as though it was the first rainfall of summer..within seconds all memory of the dry time is gone..

I am glad to have provided an opportunity for negative transference.
It quite clearly was needed.
But I am also aware that in our defensive strategies to maintain our solidity, that sentence is likely to be quoted out of context..
So, I will also reclaim my own projections.
It is quite likely that all those things I objected to exist in me.
Or perhaps more accurately that what appears to be outside and what appears to be inside is in fact one continuum..and that we either rest in the View or we attempt to defend and attack.
And that is true whether that which is defended against is homophobia ( for example ) or whether it is an expression of that defended that we object to.
So racism, homophobia, sexism all exist to some degree, in some form, in me.
And the answer is in the View.
And that starts with this particular configuration of the skandhas
that types this now.
So my sincere apologies to all I have offended.
Good wishes to all. May all be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.

N.B.
I hope that all members value the moderators..they are doing sterling service and deserve all the appreciation that can be sent their way.
So long...

It's still raining here on Dartmoor but you've cheered me up. Good luck and good wishes!

Nice to have you back.

Why? Because it lies beyond range." Sabba Sutta.

This is just a continuation of a thread I closed earlier.

If anyone wants to leave they don't need to be all melodramatic and start a thread about it. It really goes nowhere...
