Odd how the major representatives of Chinese Buddhism operate out of Taiwan...

"While teachers of the middle way, mind only, transcendent wisdom, mantra, and other schools may have their own assertions, the fulfillment of those intentions is the same. There is not a single thing that is not contained within mind."

Some or all of Lu Kuan Yu (Charles Luk) books are still in print.

It is obvious why they're mostly based out of Taiwan. You'd just think Chinese Buddhism who be, er, more Chinese than Taiwanese, no? :rolling:

"Yogi Chen's home page" is a misnomer, it is a collection of his teachings and booklets edited by Yutan Lin, who has done serious damage to Yogi Chen's work, he has taken away essential stuff, distorted things.

Yogi Chen lived in Nepal for something like 15 years, being in semi-retreat most of the time, this was in 1960's and early 1970's. During that period he met and taught several persons who later became very influential in modern world buddhism, like Ole Nydahl, Allen Ginsberg, and others... I think Lama Surya Dass is also one of them.
Then in his own words he was invited to the United States by the Dragon King of North America, who appeared to him in his meditation hut in Nepal !!!
I wonder if not any his lectures in States and Canada were filmed or taped ??
