The morality test

Postby safron » Wed Jul 18, 2012 2:02 pm

This is an actual morality test that I found on the internet by accident.

Interesting test. I don't think it reveals much about the moral standards of the person taking the test, but it reveals quite a bit about those of the test creators. They are evaluating morality primarily on responses to political lobby-group agenda items, rather than on more general moral principles.

I answered as honestly as I could, and I don't think their assessment resembled me at all. I don't fit well into pigeon holes.

There wasn't actually a single question that felt like a moral conundrum. It was a test of how well programmed a Rush Limbaugh listener you are.

I dont think that two political questions turns it into something political.

What would be the idealistic morality test?

I found the morality sense test from harvard university

There are other morality tests out there which can be found in search.

Is it immoral to cheat on a morality test?

Seemed to me like most of the 'morality' questions were in fact political hot buttons, and specifically US ones. Seemed quite alien from a UK perspective.

That was my sense of it exactly.
