Prayers for those working through addiction

I am offering up prayer and prayer requests not only for a close friend struggling for his second time with addiction but for all others who struggle with addiction, whether to addictive substances, thought patterns, or behaviors (which essentially is all of us in Samsara). May we all rest in equanimity.

Will pray. on my 30th birthday I might make some small upsaka vows to uproot the addiction/attachment to tobacco and caffeine.

I know exactly how it feels. It often feels like a hopeless situation. Thanks for caring about us... addiction is often a problem that gets overlooked as people just wanting to get off their tree. I know it's not a happy place. He will be in my prayers along with myself.
