Cone,

I don't know how the fundraising is going but I think it would help to say which Rinpoches are coming to the Monlam. Maybe it is on your site but not clearly enough as I think it should be clear from the home page. Also, how many people were there last year? If there were a lot, then you might want to include the number to show it is an important event. Also, a photo gallery of previous Monlams (including from India) might help as well.

All the best and I hope it helps a little,

- C

Thanks for the feedback.
I can tell you that Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche will be attending. As we get further info re attendees, etc., we'll be posting.
Slide show is a good idea--there are some links to the prior North American Monlam sites that have quite a bit of info, but would be good to make slideshows and other info more "immediate." Thanks again!

Great. I think Khenpo Karthar would be a crowd-attraction. You should put that up on the homepage. Presided over by Rinpoche 1, Rinpoche 2, Rinpoche 3. Etc.
Also, show pictures of both Tibetans and Westerners. Multicultural festival. Free tea (if you have that?) Anyway, you know what I mean. Thanks for doing it though.

We sure hope so! Things are looking hopeful, but no guarantee yet. Keep checking the Monlam website for updates.

Hi Cone, I am preparing an announcement to send out to KSC's sanghas and am wondering if there is a link available for the live streaming of the Monlam, if it there is going to be internet coverage?
Thank you,

Will His Holiness The Karmapa be present in His Nirmanakaya form? A couple of months ago I was told that He had expressed interest in attending and that Visa issues were being worked on.
