Re: Buddhist or not - poll
I voted "not" because I'm still new to the world of Buddhism but am Buddhist friendly & receptive.

Treeleaf Zendo was designed as an online practice place for Zen practitioners who cannot easily commute to a Zen Center due to health concerns, living in remote areas, or work, childcare and family needs, and seeks to provide Zazen sittings, retreats, discussion, interaction with a teacher, and all other activities of a Zen Buddhist Sangha, all fully online. Buddhist. That's what I'd say if you pressed me to confess, in any case. It's not an exclusivist identification, though.
When asked (and when it's OK to give the facts openly), I usually say I practice Buddhism. Unless I'm talking to someone who might know what Dzogchen is, in which case I say I practice Dzogchen.

If asked, I say I am a student of Buddhism and practicing meditation in accordance with Buddhist teachings.

Buddhist, definitely not a nudist; I like my clothes on and I like to see it on others too.
