I've been having a wonderful time poking around these forums today.

I'm a life-long Dharma brat (mom's a Buddhist, been practicing since high school) and at this point have been practicing in the Nyingma and Kagyud tradition for, oh ... carry the one, subtract two ... 26 years.

P.S. I just discovered your prayer request forum. O.O This is going to make me practice a lot.

Thank you! Yes, none of my teenage friends from the old days stuck around. Although my little brother still is Buddhist. Huh. Funny it's the two of us.

My mom didn't push it. Maybe that made a difference. We always felt that Buddhism was ours rather than something she made us do.
