Best of BPS

Postby Reductor » Thu Dec 23, 2010 8:21 pm

I'm looking to purchase introductory material from BPS, but am uncertain which books are best. So, I ask those here that have read some of the BPS intro books: which did you read, and did you like them/find them helpful?

As it stands, I'm thinking of purchasing these:
- Buddhism in a nutshell - By Narada
- The Word of the Buddha - Narada
- The Buddha's ancient path -Piyadassi
- Buddhism: A living message -Piyadassi

My intention is to accumulate material for my own loaner library. I know a few people that expressed interest in intro material, but I don't really have any.

Thanks for any input.

Hey Cooran,

Thanks for the link. Years of reading. But, I don't see these titles there. I guess I'll get each of them and post my thoughts here, in case anyone is interested.
