Today being the May full moon, I want to wish everyone a happy Vesak.
May all sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May they be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May they not be bereft of the great bliss which is free from suffering.
May they rest in great impartiality, free from attachments and aversions to those near and far.

I hope you have a good one too Keith.
Mine has been pretty low-key though I managed to get down to the Fo Guang Shan temple not too far from my work during lunchtime for some meditation and to commit to the eight precepts for today.
Speaking of which, I'm starting to get hungry now... must be nearly time for sleep.

We practised prostrations and meditation with our teacher, who comes to town once a week. He told about Shakyamuni and his life. Very peaceful meditation into dawn...
