"When one thing is practiced & pursued, ignorance is abandoned, clear knowing arises, the conceit 'I am' is abandoned, latent tendencies are uprooted, fetters are abandoned. Which one thing? Mindfulness immersed in the body." -AN 1.230

Why doesnt everyone just agree with the man out of kindness so that he and they can just get on with their actual practice as well as the rest of their lives.
Alex is a flamer.
NO amount of logic or factual debate will alter that. Just humour him and I guarantee that he will get bored and go and join another forum. Thats what I would choose.
The going for refuge is the door of entrance to the teachings of the Buddha.
