Last year I finished translating a collection of short stores for a certain Japanese monk living in India, Ven. Nakamura Gyomyo, and it was recently published.

This is just a collection of short stories with mostly Buddhist themes. Very light reading aimed at teenagers, though anyone could appreciate them. Don't jump on me for the word "soul" in the title ... it isn't a dharma text.
The illustrations are also well done and suitable for the content.
Unfortunately, the editors in India butchered the manuscript and despite having pointed out their blunders, they didn't fix it. The put commas in weird places and omitted necessary prepositions. It isn't unreadable, but still I notice it.
