World Map of visitors!

World Map of visitors!

Postby David N. Snyder » Sun Jun 19, 2011 3:45 am

More improvements:

The global map at the bottom of the home (index) page gets updated after 24 to 36 hours and will shows dots from the location of members visiting this forum. Eventually the 'dots' get bigger as that country / city sends more visitors and members to this site.

It won't show clearly or accurate until at least another 24 hours after this initial set-up.

Dharma Wheel (Mahayana) visitors since last June: 70,047
Dhamma Wheel (Theravada) visitors since last June: 70,148

Since last June, DW (Theravada) has been in "the lead" but it appears DW (Mahayana) will overtake the lead by tomorrow or in the next few days.

Oops I forgot, we're Right and they're Wrong!

Pardon me, elementary theological error there. :emb:

Now if we can only agree to who exactly is "we' and who is "them" and then the showdown can begin in earnest! Image

It's official!

Dharma Wheel (M) 71,050
Dhamma Wheel (Th) 71,008

It's all good; I'm a Theravadin, but like Mahayana too, especially Ch'an, Zen, and some others, Heart Sutra, etc.

It's my fault. I logged out of the other site, and logged in here to do some research. Had no idea that I would soon become a statistic.

It reminds of the time I visited a Zen monastery, and unknowingly wore my shoes past the "no shoes" boundary. It was not a pretty scene.
