Again And Again

The sun is down

Little light remains

To a flower I smile

For whom do you maintain?

For whom do you fade?

Again and again

May You Freely Depart

I flee
I hate the cold
Yet hit the brakes
The Hell of Ice
Would never be nice
The mountain of knives I conquer
The tree of blades I climb
I jump around
Become an animal
Bark, mew, bellow
Pig,lamb,chicken and buffalo
I wrap their pain upon myself
Yoked to the field
Whipped by the master
I tire myself
Not resting not lying not sitting
Just touched the surface
The right DU done
The left Du done
Blackish and grey and dark
My body all torn apart
For hell beings to freely depart

Living In Death

The more we do for our self
The more we bind our self
The further we move from Sunyata
Destroy the self
The negative Sunyata
Awaken Great Compassion
Become dead
Dead to our passions
Not seeking benefits
Not for our self
Not by our self
Not of our self
Yet not dead
Infinitely more alive in Sunyata
Take the lowest place
The most humble
Reach the highest
And Buddha works with us

Less For More

I could eat less if I chew more
I would whine less if I breathe more
I could hate less if I love more
I would fear less if I hope more.

Dearer

A lion appears

I have fear

But in the shoes of the lion

Who is dear?

Free Me

My cage hung up not too high
No rain to play my feathers dry
A few grains with water in a cup
No snakes are there to wake me up
Bars and stripes all around
My cage so bare no trees found
I live among men in a crowd
Can't see mountains can't see clouds
A short flight and back to my feet
The raw nature I never meet
I was free like the clouds over the plain
Now the wind blows by as I wait in vain
So many stars I see so few
The lights switched on my dream still due
I long for the forest forever and ever
Like the fish in the tank remembering the river
Could I teach my master a man so old
To blow off the sand to get the gold

Free Fall

The false Dharmas of outsiders
Aiya, no hope for final liberation
Yet they teach man to do good
Or as undermining the Hinayana
Aiya, foundation is no good
Cannot get one to the thither shore
Though it's a good foundation for Mahayana
And too for the Vajrayana
And the personal teachings of Lord Gautama
Why backbite the Dharma?
None should be slandered
Why ask for a free fall into V-hell?
Even a low building has its highest rooms.

Lost Love

My flesh I would cut up

To patch up your skeleton

I want you to wake up

To see me cry once, then return

I'm still here year after year

Love to sleep in the graveyard here

Right or wrong one thing is clear

I still shed tears for you my dear.

Buddha Said

Ye!
Light thy own lamp
No one will give thee salvation
Realize thyself
Attain Nirvana
Thou art Buddha thyself

Go Ahead Commit Suicide

Going to sleep at night
Problems are there to stay
For there is the next day
Commit suicide
Problems can't reside
For there is the next life
Yet there are those who want to
Go ahead
Their problems would never fade
No way out
Be they weak be they stout
Better stay, face the fight

Negative One-pointedness

The poor farmer
Sitting still
Deeply engrossed in misery
In deep sorrow
His mind lost its balance
He remained still
Not knowing where he was
Preoccupied and pensive
Filled with intense worry
With a one-pointed mind
But in a negative way
Worry contracts the mind
Meditation expands it.

Year Of The Black Dragon

Black Dragon
Sixty years flew by
Since I bloomed in your puff
The family economy I rusted
Had joy with sentient beings
With their causes
Remaining equal-poised and detached
Letting them obtain concentration
Bliss before me
Learning to fear the cause of evil
Hating the evil in me
Making meditation better than rest
Meditating on extending lights
Kept my speech in POM and DOM
With only the bija in the mind
I'm standing outside the door
Even though the white lion has come
My final goal is not Nirvana yet

Plea

Black Dragon of '12
Introduce me to your King
Pinned is the awareness
Fainted has the foolish blindness
I've cut,scrapped and polished
Inside out
Through words and thought
The view was caught
I need His jump-start
The Dharma from Him isn't apart

Dragon King
Come, I'm waiting
When my door gives an open swing
The Vajra bell will start to ring

Goodbye For Now

I've shot a thousand arrows
Not hurting a single fly
I"ll delete the name I borrowed
As thee I bid goodbye.

(be away for some time)

Better Blow It

We know all about the trumpet
We do not blow it
No blowing
No music
Knowing becomes useless
Mere information
Imitation
The more we blow
The greater the inner strength
The nearer the goal

Buddhas Still Wait

One day in late August

A Buddhist flag was raised

Joy you brought to father and mother

Your birth was with Buddha's grace

Friends and kinsmen opened their gates

To welcome you with gay

The Buddhas watched with tilted heads

Our man will be enlightened one day

This day you'll cut a birthday cake

To mark that very day

My friend the Buddhas still wait

For the egg you have to lay.

Certificate of Death

My coming will have its going

My in-breath, its out-breath

My mornings will have their evenings

My birth, a certificate of death.

No bondage

The potter

Completed making his pot

Yet the wheel of the potter

Still rotates for some time

Though unable to make pots

The wheel of life remains in motion

With karma unable to create bondage for him

Like a wheel with no axle
Or an apple with no core
All that fruit with no seed
Makes an apple tree no more

The tracks are getting shorter
Changing channels is a game
Attention span is shrinking
Information falls like rain

Reading news, watching movies
Working for some petty gain
Dreaming longer, laughing harder
Past the risk of going insane

Will we ever get together?
Will we try to stay apart?
Is it better to be careful
Or direct and from the heart?

Like a chariot with no driver
Clutching furiously at views
Do you make the world you live in?
Do you let the others choose?

Its Unrestricted Warfare
Peak Everything is now
Let's draw a f*ck big circle
Don't forget to feed the cow

Who's your father? How's your mother?
Can you smell the ground in spring?
Every speck of dust is sacred
Everyone lunatic's a king

How's it working for you baby?
Will you come tonight with me?
OM LAUNCH NUKES HUM PHAT SVAHA
Snake around an apple tree

_______

Its from the devil. He sends his sympathies.
People will know nothing and everything
Remember nothing and everything
Think nothing and everything
Do nothing and everything

Purnima

Your Purnima
The very basis of Buddhist Dharma
I've kheer with raisins and badam
You went through extreme austerity
To slam the back door to Enlightenment
To enlighten us
No short cuts
We'll kneel
Pour water and say in reel
All evil thoughts may we eliminate
Good deeds may we cultivate
All beings may we help save
Remembering the dragons
Spurting two streams of water
Hot and cold
Gently cascading down
To bathe You
To bathe us
Wiping our under dirt
Dirt of ignorance, greed and anger
In our Maya body
We clean our thoughts untidy.
