On Sunday, 1st July, do come and join the powerful Purification Puja - Gyashi Puja. Do bring along 3 items - strings of your hair, cut fingernails & old worn clothes into a red packet to symbolise our negatitives being pacified/ remove with the Gyashi Puja.

Symbolism and Pacification of the 4 Maras
During Buddha Sakyamuni's time, the Demi-gods (Asuras) often attacked the Heaven of King Indra. With compassion, Buddha Sakyamuni taught the Gyashi practice with the request of Vajrapani to save the King. The king was freed from the Mara of the Death after he performed the Gyashi practice.
Gyashi Puja means 400 offerings puja, to pacify the 4 MARAS. All the obstacles that we had experienced were caused by them. These are Mara of the son of god, Mara of defilement, Mara of death and Mara of form which are represented by white, red, black and yellow color respectively. They symbolize the 4 types of obscurations.
Through making offerings of 100 lamps, 100 tsa tsa, 100 tormas and 100 human form figures, one would have pacified the 4 MARAS where one can be freed of the obscuration of knowledge, the five poisons, obscurations of karmic causes and the obscuration of habitual tendencies respectively.
Benefits:
The sutra and tantra have mentioned that when one performs the Gyashi practice, it will increase one's lifespan and merits and purify one's defilement and sufferings. This practice is performed when a person is severely sick, has a bad dream, encountering bad omen or misfortune and anticipating bad omen through prediction.


“嘉希”（藏音）法会意即四百供养禳解法会，用以净化四魔。我们所经历的一切障碍都是此四魔所造。它们是天子魔，烦恼魔，死魔和蕴魔，个别以白，红，黑和黄色作为代表。它们表征着四种障碍。
通过供养一百盏灯将平息天子魔和净化所知障；同样的，供养一百察察（tsa tsa）可平息烦恼魔和净化五毒之障碍；供养一百个朵马（食子）可平息死魔及净化业因；供养一百个人身形像则可平息蕴魔和净化业习之障碍。
经典及密续皆有讲述修持四百供养者将增长其寿命及功德，并可净化烦恼和痛苦。当有人患有重病，做恶梦，凶兆显现或遇不幸事故及通过预测得知将有凶兆时，即修此法以平息灾祸。

Omje Wangchen received extensive training in rhythmic and vibrative chantings from high Tantric Masters, namely Sonam Gyaltsen (His Holiness' nephew), Tara Lama who is Senior Chant Master in Namdroling and also Tulku Thubsang Rinpoche who is now one of the Head of Palyul Monastery in Tibet.

Omje Wangchen was a talented student who mastered the skills of Nyingtig rituals in tantric chantings and at a young age of 14, was conferred the title OMJE, CHANT MASTER by the late HH Penor Rinpoche at Namdroling Monastery in 1998.During this period, Omje Wangchen was appointed and commisssioned as Lead Chant Master for some of His Holiness' major pujas in India. He received numerous empowerments and along with many Rinpoches and lamas from all over the world, practised and performed tantric rituals and chantings at all His Holiness spiritual tours in India and also at Namdroling Monastery.
2001:

A very important spiritual tours appointed as Lead Chant Master by His Holiness was one held at Pharping, Nepal, where his Holiness visited the holy meditative cave of Guru Rinpoche to confer Nyingthig Yabshi Empowerment to over 10,000 local devotees and disciples worldwide. Nyingthig Yabshi Empowerment is one of the high Dzogchen tantric practice for sentient beings who aspire to swiftly gain enlightenment in this life time. This one month spiritual event held at Nyingma Palyul Retreat Centre at Yanglesho, Pharping, Nepal was specially requested by Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche of Namdroling Monastery. His Holiness was very pleased with Omje Wangchen's good performance and rewarded him

In 2009, the late HH Penor Rinpoche visited the Macau Centre and his last words with Omje Wangchen were "You can do great with your life to propagate Dharma". This was the encouragement given by the HH Penor Rinpoche before his return to Namdroling Monastery in 2009 and few months later, Penor Rinpoche went into Parinirvana. With all the spiritual trainings and experiences gathered for the past 20 years serving His Holiness, Omje Wangchen decided to open a Centre in Singapore. With the help of Singapore devotees, he started the Padma Wodling Dharma Centre. He wants to share his experiences and vast spiritual trainings received to Singaporeans. Though Singapore is a very blessed country there is still a lot of people who lack formal training of good Dharma practice. Omje Wangchen hoped he would be able to contribute to those who are looking for pure Dharma teaching from Namdroling Monastery
