Rinpoche was born on 1956 and recognized at the age of one In 1983 He escaped Tibet On the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama he went to study at Sera Je Monastery in India graduating as Geshe lharampa in 1999
Predicted by Guru Rinpoche the 1st Dagri Rinpoche dispelled the Sikh soldiers
who invaded Tibet from India through the power of prayers As the 2nd Dagri Rinpoche
his practice was so profound that nectar flowed from the mouth of the statue of Yamantaka from which the famous Dagri Rinpoche pills are made The 3rd Dagri Rinpoche was the Root Guru of Dechen Nyingpo Pabongka Rinpoche who was famous for his teachings in Tibet He then became the heart son of Dechen Nyingpo Pabongka Rinpoche as the 4th Dagri Rinpoche
His Eminence Dagri Rinpoche is reconized by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the reincarnation of Serlingpa, the Root Guru of Atisha
