Grace of Compassion: Teachings & Empowerment on the Practice of Amogaphasa with Tulku Sherab Dorje

Fri.-Sun., Mar. 14-16, 2014
Foundation of Light
391 Turkey Hill Rd., Ithaca, NY

Amogaphasa is a special three-headed, four-armed form of Avalokiteshwara which was emphasized by the late, great Terton, Orgyen Kusum Lingpa. According to His Holiness, this practice can pacify our disturbed mind and create both personal and societal harmony. In recent years, in furtherance and fulfillment of this directive from his precious Root Guru, Tulku Sherab Dorje, His Holiness' heart disciple, has begun to spread this practice. During this weekend teaching, Rinpoche will offer the full-lenght empowerment and other transmissions associated with Amogaphasa and explain the short daily sadhana (gyun khyer) in depth. Therefore, this program is open to and suitable for those who simply wish to receive the blessings of this Deity and His Holiness' lineage as well as for those with some prior connection to this practice.

In the spirit of Bodhicitta and as an offering to the lineage, the Dharma, and all sentient beings, Tulku Sherdor has requested that there be no registration fee for this teaching. At the conclusion of these teachings, attendees may make a gift in support of this precious activity in accordance with one's own means and dedication to the path of Mahayana Dharma, the great way to Enlightenment.

Friday evening's teachings will be from 7-9 PM. Saturday's events will run from 10 AM-4:30 PM with a lunch break. Sunday's events will run from 9-11:30 AM.

Tulku Sherdor is a Canadian Lama and long-time practitioner of Vajrayana. He was H.H. Kusum Lingpa's English translator and is fluent in both written and spoken Tibetan. He is also the author of A Path Strewn with Flowers Bones and the Director of Blazing Wisdom Institute in Andes, NY.
